Our Love Story

They&nbsp;met&nbsp;online&nbsp;in&nbsp;March&nbsp;of&nbsp;2025—and&nbsp;the&nbsp;rest&nbsp;was&nbsp;history.&nbsp;After&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;on&nbsp;March&nbsp;12th,&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;went&nbsp;home&nbsp;and&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;told&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;date&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;ever&nbsp;been&nbsp;on.&nbsp;They&nbsp;shared&nbsp;how&nbsp;easy&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;talk&nbsp;and&nbsp;how&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;never&nbsp;felt&nbsp;such&nbsp;an&nbsp;instant&nbsp;connection&nbsp;with&nbsp;someone&nbsp;before. They&nbsp;exchanged&nbsp;phone&nbsp;numbers&nbsp;and&nbsp;talked&nbsp;every&nbsp;day&nbsp;from&nbsp;that&nbsp;point&nbsp;on.&nbsp;At&nbsp;the&nbsp;time,&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;was&nbsp;still&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;road,&nbsp;so&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;was&nbsp;long-distance&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;few&nbsp;months.&nbsp;Thus&nbsp;began&nbsp;their&nbsp;marathon&nbsp;phone&nbsp;calls.&nbsp;They&nbsp;logged&nbsp;countless&nbsp;hours&nbsp;together,&nbsp;often&nbsp;spending&nbsp;entire&nbsp;days&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;phone.&nbsp;They&nbsp;would&nbsp;fall&nbsp;asleep&nbsp;mid-conversation&nbsp;and&nbsp;wake&nbsp;up&nbsp;still&nbsp;connected,&nbsp;continuing&nbsp;where&nbsp;they&nbsp;left&nbsp;off.&nbsp;They&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;know&nbsp;everything&nbsp;about&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;incredibly&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;and&nbsp;fell&nbsp;madly&nbsp;in&nbsp;love&nbsp;within&nbsp;just&nbsp;two&nbsp;months. In&nbsp;April,&nbsp;Izabel&nbsp;brought&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;her&nbsp;family&nbsp;for&nbsp;Easter,&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;fit&nbsp;right&nbsp;in.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;parents&nbsp;expressed&nbsp;how&nbsp;much&nbsp;they&nbsp;liked&nbsp;him&nbsp;after&nbsp;that&nbsp;weekend.&nbsp;By&nbsp;May&nbsp;2025,&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;had&nbsp;quit&nbsp;his&nbsp;job&nbsp;that&nbsp;kept&nbsp;him&nbsp;traveling&nbsp;and&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Fargo,&nbsp;ND.&nbsp;While&nbsp;he&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;explicitly&nbsp;say&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;closer&nbsp;to&nbsp;Izabel,&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;later&nbsp;revealed&nbsp;that&nbsp;this&nbsp;was&nbsp;absolutely&nbsp;the&nbsp;reason.&nbsp;He&nbsp;found&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;job&nbsp;that&nbsp;allowed&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;locally. That&nbsp;same&nbsp;May,&nbsp;they&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;Duluth,&nbsp;MN&nbsp;with&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;grew&nbsp;even&nbsp;closer.&nbsp;Immediately&nbsp;afterward,&nbsp;Izabel&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;West&nbsp;Virginia,&nbsp;where&nbsp;Izabel&nbsp;met&nbsp;Jason’s&nbsp;family—including&nbsp;his&nbsp;daughter.&nbsp;Jason’s&nbsp;family&nbsp;instantly&nbsp;liked&nbsp;Izabel.&nbsp;His&nbsp;brother&nbsp;even&nbsp;commented&nbsp;on&nbsp;how&nbsp;happy&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;seemed&nbsp;and&nbsp;how&nbsp;refreshing&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;see. After&nbsp;returning&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;trip,&nbsp;they&nbsp;began&nbsp;living&nbsp;together&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;trial&nbsp;basis,&nbsp;as&nbsp;Izabel’s&nbsp;lease&nbsp;was&nbsp;ending&nbsp;in&nbsp;September.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;lives&nbsp;blended&nbsp;seamlessly,&nbsp;and&nbsp;their&nbsp;love&nbsp;continued&nbsp;to&nbsp;grow&nbsp;each&nbsp;day.&nbsp;So&nbsp;much&nbsp;so&nbsp;that&nbsp;close&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;family&nbsp;began&nbsp;making&nbsp;comments&nbsp;and&nbsp;jokes&nbsp;about&nbsp;an&nbsp;engagement. Jason&nbsp;took&nbsp;those&nbsp;comments&nbsp;to&nbsp;heart&nbsp;and&nbsp;started&nbsp;thinking&nbsp;seriously&nbsp;about&nbsp;it.&nbsp;On&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;engagement—August&nbsp;20,&nbsp;2025—Izabel&nbsp;had&nbsp;no&nbsp;idea&nbsp;how&nbsp;real&nbsp;those&nbsp;jokes&nbsp;had&nbsp;become.&nbsp;In&nbsp;fact,&nbsp;just&nbsp;hours&nbsp;earlier,&nbsp;she&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;friend&nbsp;who&nbsp;brought&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;topic&nbsp;of&nbsp;engagement.&nbsp;The&nbsp;irony&nbsp;was&nbsp;striking&nbsp;when,&nbsp;later&nbsp;that&nbsp;evening,&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;took&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;park,&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee,&nbsp;and&nbsp;proposed. Izabel&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;shocked&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;speechless&nbsp;and&nbsp;almost&nbsp;forgot&nbsp;to&nbsp;give&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;an&nbsp;answer—which&nbsp;was&nbsp;understandably&nbsp;stressful&nbsp;for&nbsp;him.&nbsp;But&nbsp;of&nbsp;course,&nbsp;she&nbsp;eventually&nbsp;found&nbsp;the&nbsp;words&nbsp;to&nbsp;say&nbsp;yes. Though&nbsp;Izabel&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jason's&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;isn't&nbsp;a&nbsp;very&nbsp;long&nbsp;one,&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;good&nbsp;one.&nbsp;When&nbsp;you&nbsp;know,&nbsp;you&nbsp;know.

Guest Questions!

Are there hotel's near by that out of town guests can stay at?
 
Absolutely, there are several hotels in the Fargo/Moorhead area. In fact the venue, Brewhalla, is a hotel in of itself. Other wise there are other options you can chose from. Jason usually recommends the La Quinta hotel in Fargo.

What is the dress code?
 
Casual formal! We want you to be comfortable but also looking your best. Whatever, that means to you is perfect. We care more that you showed up than how you look. All we ask is please NO white. :)

What time does the reception end? The venue requires us to be out by 1am, so the reception will offically end by midnight. Please do not feel obligated to stay until midnight we understand if you leave before then.

what time should I arrive? 
 
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts so you can find a seat(s). If you are late and we have started, the doors will be closed, and you will have to wait til it ends to be allowed in. :)
